Phone Case | Pen-and-ink and charcoal drawing built with dense cross-hatching and tonal washes. The composition centers on a narrow, winding path flanked by birch trunks whose pale bark is suggested by reserved white paper and linear highlights. At the vanishing point sits a large warm yellow-orange full moon; several small birds are rendered as black silhouettes crossing its face. Heavy ink and charcoal create deep shadows in the canopy and ground; the path is left lighter to reflect the moonlight. Limited palette: black, white and yellow. Visible techniques: layered hatching, smudging and selective erasure to define texture of bark, grass clumps and ground.
